- I had an agent who refused to deal with Grapevine owners. That means once you sign the contract to use them as a buying agent, you can kiss goodbye any grapevine listing, even if it is your dream home. I would ask before signing.
- Also, from past experience, most real estate guys “specialize” in a certain area of town. I would look at the area you want to live in and see who has the bulk of the listings. They might not be the best, but they will know the area better than most. My experience came from buying my first house. I grabbed a guy I met in the real estate office, but all his listings were in Orleans. I was looking to buy In hunt club/bank area and the guy didn’t know much about the area. |
